The first project with Chupps was to design a core collection that could have to stand out in a cluttered and mediocre world, such as the flip-flop one. That was the preamble of what would have become the iconic banana leaf texture, which, in its first season, came in 16 different colors along the distinctive black strap. In 2021 they were updated with a monochrome edition, and new fashion collections were dropped, like Kaleen, the Hindi word for carpet.
